Sperm donation – anyone ever done it before?

I’m not talking about just fraping…legit sperm donation.

Friends of a friends are looking for someone to donate. Not sure why they are having a hard time finding a willing donator. Most of us guys whack it anyway! lol

On a serious note…what is the process? How do they…"harvest" the specimen? Do you just go into a room and frap into a container? Do they offer any…visual aids? Movies? Mags?

I can’t believe it’s like you see in the movies…what was that movie? Road trip? Where the nurse came in and gave a prostate massage?

I would never, ever do this.
The possibility does exist that you can be looked up some years later and be sued for child support.

It is wrong, it is insane and it has happened.

I can’t even begin to describe the rage this makes me feel.
I actually convinced myself I should do it when I was short on cash years ago. I worked up the nerve to call some sperm bank and the bitch on the other end managed to stop laughing long enough to inform me that no sperm banks in the state of Florida $compensate for ‘donations’ wtf

The repository close to where I live pays $100/sample; however, I feel my sperm is worth much more than that.
Do they pay constantly or is it only available at certain times? How often can you do it? Are there any requirements or restrictions? I do it for free might as well make $100 each time.

At the one here, you sign a contract for 6 months or a year. You donate up to 3 times per week, $100 a pop. You get an extra $500 or so for fulfilling your contract. There are a lot of requirements. You have to have a high sperm count w/ enough viable sperm after freezing. They do lab work. Screen you for STD and genetic disease. Get medical history from you and both sides of your family. You have to be a certain height and age. Need a certain education level. Maybe some other stuff.
Oh wow that is a lot more involved than I thought it would be, I probably wouldn’t qualify due to a genetic medical condition.

The man in the story made a serious mistake and the woman involved is a grade-A bitch, but since there was no contract, the judge’s decision was correct

He did majorly fuck up, but it still gives me some mad fucking rage.

i feel ya
I’ve done this. They do a very long family history questionnaire, examination by doctor, etc… and if you are deemed to be of high enough ‘quality’ they accept you into the program. The one I found paid approximately $100 per donation.

You pretty much just show up, grab a cup, go into some room full of porn and aim for the cup.

I was eventually kicked out because questions were raised about my mental health… but it was great college income.

edit: And don’t let that news story worry you – the idiot had his name on the birth certificate, and it sounds like he didn’t do it through a program but instead as a friendly gesture. Donors in a program can choose to be completely anonymous, nothing more than a donor # etc. I can’t fathom anybody having child support troubles through a legit program.

Is this in Hawaii?

Every time you masturbate you spawn a bastard child?! Crazy!

I could be wrong, but I remember one of the requirements to donate (maybe just in my state) was that you needed a bachelor’s degree. Also, be >6′.

I imagine that each program has their own requirements. I’m pretty sure height was included in mine… it may have been that you had to have or be in pursuit of a bachelor’s. Can’t remember anymore.

This happened because he maintained a relationship with the child. You could be held liable for child support even if you are not the biological father but are involved in the child’s life and take a parental role. My advise is if you donate sperm, DO NOT have any contact with any child born of your seed.

Yep. Very typical sperm donation incident. As soon as any sperm donor is tracked, they can always be sued, as depicted in your example.

The man, married at the time, agreed he would not have any rights or benefits in rearing the child, but the oral agreement never was put in writing, according to court documents.

But he took the unusual step of allowing his name to appear on the child’s birth certificate because he thought it was in the child’s "best interests that he would have an identity when he grew older," he said in court documents.

Before the mother, her partner and the child moved to Oregon in 1993, the man had contact with the child, he said. He also sent the child money, gifts and cards and letters signed "Dad" or "Daddy," and spoke to him by phone about seven times in the past 15 years.

Typical :OnTopic: garbage.

if you live in california

$65 bucks a pop, twice a week

damn I might have to do this

I missed the part where he sent cards and signed them as "Dad" or "Daddy"
